Tanner grew up in the Davenport area, graduating from Durant High School in 2016. He grew up loving to be active and was involved in both wrestling and football. This made it an easier decision to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic where he continued his athletics with Rugby.
Tanner graduated from Palmer Davenport in 2022 and after graduation worked for a non profit community clinic which fueled his drive in empowering the patient utilizing an active approach to care.
When not working you can find Tanner at the gym, enjoying local eats, or if it’s the fall, watching everything college football. Tanner also is known to still hop into the occasional Rugby game. He also loves spending time with his wife and being outdoors.

Everyone has a different story and set of circumstances and we believe having an individual take an active approach in their care will serve them best. Our treatment approach includes thorough assessment and analysis with your goals in mind. We use an active approach to help you accomplish your goals and get back to your life.
It is extremely helpful to be informed on the "why" of what we are doing and what you are dealing with. It is one of the most important tools of our trade and something we emphasize.
As a chiropractor, SMT (the adjustment) and mobilizations are also a helpful tool in short term pain relief. SMT allows for an initial increase in movement, assisting in our active approach to care.
In the soft tissue world, we utilize a variety of techniques to suit your individual needs. Either done by hand or with the use of specialized tools as pictured to help reduce your pain.
We utilize a variety of cupping techniques with a focus on those to help introduce or reintroduce movement. This helps to increase range of motion and reduce your pain experience.
With a special interest in chronic pain, we utilize the tools listed to help. With a collaborative care plan and education, we strive to help you get out of pain and back to the things you love.

Our hours vary to be more accommodating to the patient and the appointment type. However, for our free discovery calls we are available Monday through Friday, 8am - 1pm and 6pm-9pm; as well as Sunday 10am-2pm.

We will be the first to let you know if we think you need something else. Our true goal is to help you find the thing that will be the best for you.
We take an active and individualized approach to care to ensure that you are in charge of your health. While we may use some of the same modalities as others, we focus on making you and active participant in your care. Ensuring you are achieving the outcomes you desire, with us by your side to help guide you along the way.
Our new patient exam is 60 minutes but may vary from person to persond depending on individual needs but may consist of a movement evaluation, orthopedic and physical exams, neurological exams, and a detailed health history. This all helps us determine your specific goals and what treatment can look like for you. Following we will jump right into our initial treatment if it is safe to do so.
Follow ups in person will follow the same timeline but with an emphasis on movement. Due to this we recommend wearing whatever you are comfortable moving around in and possibly getting a sweat on in.
We currently accept card based payments.
Our main priority at Mississippi Valley Movement is to provide high quality and individualized care. This means offering longer appointments with evidence-based treatment options. All to get you out of pain and back to doing the things you love.
Insurance companies often dictate the length and type of treatment their policy holders can receive. In order to uphold our standards and those of the people we treat, we currently do not accept insurance.
